The corrrect answer, I believe, is "above the dewpoint". However, since
the corrector can cool below ambient, it can reach the dewpoint and dew
upeven if the dewpoint is below ambient. On very humid nights, the
dewpoint can approach or even exceed ambient, but I can't imagine an
instance where you would be observing with the dewpoint equal to or above
ambient. So the practical approach is to keep the corrector above ambient
and prevent all dew problems. My idea has always been to sense the
corrector temperature at it's coolest point and keep that point just at or
above ambient, thus preventing dew with the minimum energy expended and the
least optical impact.
