I line the scope up with a known object and set the time strip on m lx50
untill it reads
the right RA, If the DEC's off a few degrees I just note when I go look for
something. If Dec is Way
off I start adjusting the Mount to correct it.
Rember Ploaris IS NOT the Center of the earths pole, it a little under a
degree off. If you know the
Local Side Real time you can preset to a known object and do a half good
job of alligning your scope.
