While you're here, how about checking out the

I see in my latest Orion Catalog that they have a 50mm wide field plossl
with a 50 deg. App FOV for $99. Anyone have this or tried it??
For $99, cheap way to get 2.1 deg. Act. FOV (in my scope). Of course.
knowing it's a plossl, the usable viewing area may by only the 1 deg. in
the center...about the same FOV as my panoptic.
Comments/Opinions?

I have one of these eyepieces and it is my least used eyepiece. If you don.t
position your eye properly it is like looking down a tunnel. The shadow from
the secondary is sometimes apparent especially when I use my 6.3 reducer. (I
have a 10" f/10) so you may want to consider a better quality eyepiece I don't
think you'll be happy with this one.
