While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I'm working on a remote control program to operate the LX200 by LAN.
You'd need one computer in your observatory setup as a "server"
connected to the LX200, and another computer setup as a client indoors
with a LAN between the two machines.

The program will more-or-less emulate the LX200 controller, with buttons
for GOTO's, movement, focus, etc. It won't do anything for the CCD
camera as of yet.

I ought to have the program finished late this week; I'll post again
when I have a beta ready.
