Good evening everyone,
Call me behind the times if you like but I just recently upgraded my
observatory computer to run windows95 and would like to know if it is
required to upgrade my 416XT flash file to from version 2.00 to version
3.00 in order to operate serially or is this flash upgrade generally for
SCSI use only? Thanks for any help.

Hi Dave,
You do not need to upgrade to run under windows95. If you do upgrade to the
3.0 flash file you will loose the auto-exposure function of the 416. There is
a 3.1 flash file that is supposed to fix this but I have not tried it, I use
my 416 with pictor 2.0 and SCSI.
