While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
I complained to Amy at Meade sometime ago about 2000IP crashing when I
try to crop images (by the way, is it just me?). She has assured me
several times that there is NO work being done on a release beyond 202
(she still wants bug reports though).
Does someone *really* know differently?
By the way, I would like to try coordinating problem reports with
IP2000 and PictorView. What I have in mind is to start with
outstanding bugs, verify repeatability and conditions of failures,
prioritize amongst the users and present the prioritized list to Meade.
If this is done in writing with supporting files etc. maybe we'd all
have better luck getting results. The idea is that they (Meade) get a
prioritized version representing the most agonizing (highest priority)
problems from a group instead of different reports trickling in from
numerous sources. You know, help them get a sense of direction.
Thoughts?
Bob
