While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Happy new year!

I wanted to thank those that replied on and off line to my cries of angst. I was able to repair
the serial port connections which were internal shorts (thanks Ric!) and correct the focuser/optic
problems. Now the setup works as planned, however, I am having trouble with very unsteady seeing.
As I anticipate this will be a problem in the new york area (where I live), I was wondering if any
one has any experience with the seeing adaptors that are on the market. I believe that stellar
products makes them. In addition, can these be used to combat seeing difficulties from radiant
heat from surrounding houses?

Ciao and thanks again

Deke
