Because there is no wide need for one. When refractors and
Cassegrains are pointed up you are usually already bending
over to look through the 90 degree diagonal. The 45 degree
diagonal would mean laying on your back or doing the limbo
to reach the EP.

The Newtonian already has the EP sticking out sideways.
