While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Paul/Bill,

I was hoping an infrared control might be a feasible product for the
LX200. Is this yet another spin-off opportunity for some enterprising
individual? Anyone have any ideas over what sort of distance something
like this could operate?

What really made me think of this was that there are only two other
alternatives for distance remote slewing/focusing; the recent discussion
on extending the LX200 keypad (I am still unclear what the final view on
this is) or the use of a RS232 PC-LX200 link.

Well Paul, if you ever get this gizmo off the ground let us know :)

Good luck,
Graham
