While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

The dec motor on my 10" LX200 is not sounding to good lately. The noise
emanating from the motor varies in a sing song manner (up and down in
pitch) as if it is straining to work, same sound on AC or DC. Is this
normal or am I going to experience an expensive repair job soon. By the
way, the thrust bearing idea works great on my wedge , thanks... to the
person who came up with the tip.
