Happy New Year To All! --
I thought you might be interested in the "before and after"
comparison of the improvement that CCDSharp's LR has had on my M27.
My previous processing of my ST7 tri-color M27 did not respond well
to standard "unsharp masking" attempts in CCDSoft, so the original
image you see on my website has no UM.
I then reprocessed the original three images with CCDSharp's LR. The
red and blue images responded well to 2 cycles of 5 iterations
each. However, the green image would take only one cycle of 5
iterations before serious artifacts occured.
These three images were then color combined, and color balanced in
Photoshop.
While the improvement here in M27 is not as amazing as that on my
M13 TC image, it is indeed significant, and certainly worth the
re-processing effort.
You may see both of these (M27) images on page LI 8 on my website.
The two M13 images are on page LI 7. Enjoy!!
Best regards,
Frank Loch
