SUBJECT: LX50: Magellan II / RS-232
Hi group.
Thanks to all who replied to my question about the Magellan II for my LX-50.
Can somebody who actually has an LX-50 and a Magellan II confirm that it's
possible to connect this setup to a PC? I heard from Glenn at Pocono (who's
sually quite knowledgeable) that there's no external port on the Magellan
II... Not that I need the serial port right now, I'm just confused.
I looked at Meade's WWW page and it actually says that the Magellan II has an
RS-232 port on it. If that's not for connecting to a computer, what's it for,
then?
Any advice is as usual much appreciated.
Cheers,
Henrik
