SUBJECT: LX50: Magellan II / RS-232

Hi group.

Thanks to all who replied to my question about the Magellan II for my LX-50.
Can somebody who actually has an LX-50 and a Magellan II confirm that its
possible to connect this setup to a PC? I heard from Glenn at Pocono (whos
sually quite knowledgeable) that theres no external port on the Magellan
II... Not that I need the serial port right now, Im just confused.

I looked at Meades WWW page and it actually says that the Magellan II has an
RS-232 port on it. If thats not for connecting to a computer, whats it for,
then?

Any advice is as usual much appreciated.
