Well, I have the 8" f10 LX200, and I have always noticed that there is a
difference from center to edge, but I have come to believe that it is not
the eyepiece. Rather it seems to be an effect of the central obstruction
not being far enough out of focus. There seems to be some minor flaring
radially outward, depending on how you focus.
