While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I think if the Lx-200 were built to the standards so many on this group
expect it would cost twice as much. Where is the competition? Why isn't
Celestron blowing Meade out of the water if it is so easy? I really enjoy
reading about all the mods and have used some but we should all realize that
if you value your time at anything, these homebuilt projects are not free.
