Hi all -- I just uploaded to my website a new RGB "eskimo" using the
12" LX200 with the ST7-AO7 adaptive optics setup taken here in SE PA
on 01/25/98 during rather poor seeing with thin, high level clouds
passing through the image area during the three exposures of 1800,
1800, and 3600 seconds.
The AO7 hung on to the guide star with our a single drop out.
While better seeing should produce a set of superior images, I'm not
totally unhappy with these results, considering my focus was not
"right on" for the red and green images. For your study, I have also
uploaded the three individual red, green, and blue images.
All can be seen on page LI 10.
