I have a Pentium 100 w/24megs. and its about the same as your times for
downloading. I don't think the machine speed has much to do with the
download only the baud rate. It would be nice if it had a parallel
interface instead of a serial. I take multiple images, usually 5 at 30
to 60 seconds and just walk away from the scope for the time it takes to
perform the images. At this rate, I don't use any guider, drift
alignment and PEC is all it gets with consistent results.
