While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I'll be in San Jose area Feb 16-20 on mix business/vacation. Plan to drive
down (from home in Seattle), so I can take my 10" LX200 along.

Does anyone know of some good viewing sites (for visual observation, 35mm
astrophoto) in that area (or within an hour or so drive from there)? If
so, please repsond via private email to address in the signature line (to
help reduce Mapug clutter).

I have done some binocular viewing from Joseph D. Grant park (on Mt
Hamilton Road, on the way up to Lick obs). Also met the TAC group at Monte
Bello site in the Midpeninsula Region Open Space District. I have a permit
for that site all week, in case no one has any better ideas.

Anyway, thanks for any input you might have.

Regards,
Greg Donohue
