While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

The UK distributor for Meade equipment is BC&F. These guys offer first
class advice and service. I imagine that BC&F dealt with these problems
without any bother. As a further example of this, they are very happy
to sell 216xt cameras (which DO work in the UK!) but have been extremely
reluctant to distribute the 416xt despite the number of requests for the
camera. I have to say that I get the impression that this 'user' and
CCD cameras do not seem to be compatible in this case :)

I'm just off to Astrofest for the day and I'll see if I can get the
chance to talk to Dave from BC&F about this problem. How many other
European Mapuggers are going?

Regards,
Graham (UK-based 216xt and SXL8 user)
