While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

When using a prism or diagonal with an SCT, images are reversed left to right, but right side up - like looking in a mirror. If the telescope is pointing generally south (assuming you are in the northern hemisphere), and a star appears at the left edge in the field of
view (to your left), then the star is actually west of the telescopes position.
