While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

If a person has a 10" LX and a 9mm Nagler, 19mm Nagler, 22mm Panoptic, and
35mm Panoptic, would one benefit from getting the 2" Barlow from Tele Vue
any for visual use?

I particularly enjoy planet watching, and some DSOs but I guess you really
can't see most of them without a good dark site. Humidity is dropping
here in KS and hopefully this winter things will get cool. If last night
was any indication I do need to invest in a good set of thermal clothing.

What do you all wear for winter observing? Aside from Snow boots if snow
is around. Winters are usually dry here in NE Kansas. I do have the
Kendrick Dew Removal system on the way, but what about outerwear? I've seen
the 'observers gloves' on various MO sites and have been thinking about them
for the purpose of not wanting to hear glass tinkle in my high dollar
eyepieces. Or do most of you without an observatory hole up for the
winter? For me winter is some of the darkest, clearest nights around
though. My Semi-Dark site goes dark and you can see the arm of the milky
way very clearly.

Thanks

Tom
