While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

My reply: With that spread of eyepiece focal lengths, I don't think you
would benefit from a barlow. I have the Meade #140 and rarely use it.
It adds an extra bit of glass and the eyepieces you mentioned have
plenty of glass to reduce the brightness of your intended object.
I have yet to see a barlow at a given power that equals a well made
eyepiece alone at the same power. Barlows do increase eye relief but
all the eyepieces you mentioned are decent in that area.
