While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
Cliff --
If you're getting Starry Night Deluxe by CD, then it comes with a
copy of Astronomer's Control Panel (ACP) V1.0. If you'd like to
learn about that program ahead of time (before arrival of your
package), have a look at
http://acp.dc3.com/
You will get to use all of the advanced features of ACP,
including voice command and response, for the first 30 days, then
it will revert to just the simple scope control features needed
to handle Starry Night's access to your scope. You are not forced
to purchase ACP if you just need the scope control for Starry
Night.
Hopefully this will help solve the mystery :-) And I will be
happy to help you through any startup hassles you might have.
Most peopole seem to get it going without any problem, though
(assuming the cable is good, and yours must be).
