While you're here, how about checking out the

Hi, all,
I have two questions relating to the allen screws used for collumation.
1. Has anyone come up with a good alternative? I find that adjusting them
constantly, has a tendency to wear out the heads, and it is just plain a pain
to adjust them with allen wrenches. I have considered thumb screws, etc. but
can't find anything that small as yet.
2. Before I pull out the old ones to put in new ones, I have been reading in
this group of the dangers of loosening them too much, let alone removing them.
I would assume that if one aims the scope downward, there is no danger in
removing them ONE AT A TIME and replacing them. Right? I know this sounds
quite obvious, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Thanks in advance to all for any info.
