While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I've been spending some time watching Jupiter and Saturn over the last
several months. I own an 8" LX200. The contrast and amount of light coming
from Jupiter results in a very bright image with very little contrast. Can
someone kindly recommend a filter or set of filters to cut down on this
'glare' and resolve the darker horizontal lines better? Also, is there
anything that will put some natural color into Saturn? The image is pretty
much light colored again due to the sun light. If there's a kit (multiple
filters or colors) from someone like Lumicon that you recommed I would
greatly appreciate it. I currently only own a moon filter and a Lumicon UHC
filter.

Thanks
