While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi all:

Anyone know offhand what sort of voltage/current the AUX port on an
LX200 provides? A quick look at Doc G's site didn't have any specific
numbers. I'm giving some thought to using it to power a dew heater I
want to build to protect my ETX (used as a guide scope on the LX200) but
I suspect there isn't ample power available from that port.

I've heard it was originally designed to power encoders...anyone know
the story on that?
