Hi Kevin,
I have been using PV. 6.43 with a 133Mhz Pentium I notebook and the New Media Basics SCSI
card. I have been experiencing the very same problems. With some help from Ralph Pass via
MAPUG, I have changed some parameters in the Pictor.ini file: -SCSI_Delay_Time=20000
-SCSI_Bin_Delay=15000 .
Of course it takes now somewhat longer to download the images. By the way, these problems
did not exist in earlier versions, so I hope they will disappear again in the upcoming
update. The driver for the SCSI card is named "bscw95".
Good Luck!
