While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
Rinalto
Yes you are right this is the list of Meade Advanced Products. It's very
popular and quite friendly.
But, I can't imagine expecting members to discuss their Meade hardware
or software with out drift. How do I ask a question about cleaning my
opitcs without discussing cleaners? How do I talk about housing my Meade
without initializing a thread on observatories? How do I talk about my
Meade and condensation without talking about dew points, wet
electronics, weather proof power systems? How do I talk about my Meade
and computerized tracking without talking about OS's, sky software and
horsepower? Or light pollution? What would you propose?
The recent thread on Ground Fault Interrupt was good. I would not want
to blow the circuits in my investment.
For me, this list is all about Meade products. How to use them and take
care of them.
OTS, I once asked some Iranian friends of mine what they thought about
Americans. There answer? They could not believe how fast we changed the
subject during a conversation._grin
Take care
