While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Chris--

In Texas and Oklahoma we have concealed carry laws--I usually carry a .45 to my dark
site 100 hundred miles from Dallas in the Oklahoma boonies which is very
isolated--particularly when my nine-year old daughter is with me. I have been there
many a night alone--or just with my daughter-- and I think the movie "Deliverance"
made an impact on me. I suspect just the noise of a .45 would discourage any redneck
who thought he was going to give the "geek" some trouble. To keep this on topic--I
don't think my LX-200 is covered by insurance if it is stolen at the dark site but
somehow I don't think that is going to happen.

Clear skies, Andy
