Good point Frank. Getting late in the season here for dew. It's about to
turn
to snow any moment but I'll watch this in the future. Got until Spring to rig
something up.
Now, this brings up a good point, if dew forms when the corrector lens gets
below ambiant; what causes frost on the collector? Is it when the corrector
gets above ambiant winter tempertures?

Chris,
I think this was directed to me since I'm quoted.
I can't remember when was the last time I got frost to form. Usually by the
time it gets cold enough here it also gets dry enough. Now, I have had many
instances of frost on the eyepiece. That's all due to moisture from my body
freezing on the EP. A hair dryer fixes that problem very well as it is
infrequent -- maybe once or twice a night.
The exception to the above is when temp conditions are marginal and the air
temps are just about at freezing. Radiation cooling will lower the corrector
temp enough that frost will form. But as I said that is so rare I can't
remember the last time.
