I was thinking that unfortunately send e-mail to the offending party may
have little effect and will not even be made public. A better alternative =
is
to complain to the local news agencies that have been covering the story.
The huge outlay of public money alone would raise some eyebrows one would
think. Here are some local TV stations


Seattle Mayor Paul Schell has decided to "celebrate the new millenium" (hi=
s
own description) by using high intensity lamps and upward pointing
spotlights to light up bridges in Seattle. The project starts this Friday
and will last indefinitely but at least through 2000. Local liberals hail =
it
as art, mindless of the massive money waste, and few seem to see the
pollution it will cause. Purple is the main color. It makes you want to
puke. The largest bridge in the city will be the first illuminated this
Friday and the sky for miles around. Please send him your thoughts on this
