While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I understand Chris to be proposing that the location of a satellite
in space be used as a reference point for alignment, such that the LX200
would "home" on the radio signal from the satellite, and then "lock in"
the LX200's GOTO circuitry, based on the known position of the satellite
at the time of lock-in? The proposal is confusing because "GPS circuitry"
is intended for geographical positioning rather than celestial positioning.
However, all things being relative, it ought to work backasswards too.

Personally, I would prefer giving the LX200 the capacity to automatically
brew me a cup of coffee in the wee hours, or automatically do my laundry
from a remote position at the proper sidereal time, but, unfortunately, I
do understand the attraction of a robotic scope that aligns itself. Maybe
Bob Denny could add that capacity to the alignment wizard in ACP, so the
verbal "show commands" menu would include "get ready" and "get set" besides
"GOTO").
