While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I'm getting ready to purchase a ETX as a guide scope for my 10" LX200.

If you buy just the OTA does it come with the flip mirror portion, or is it
required to purchase the whole kit to get the flip mirror portion?

I don't see the need for a second 26mm Plossl or the little stand and
unusable finderscope, so I was wanting to save a tiny bit of $$ and get the
OTA only if I could get away with it.
