While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

As a newcomer to the group I have been lurking for awhile. There is some
great information here on a variety of products. I recently purchased a LXD
650 mount from Meade (and with any luck it will be back from repair soon-a
runaway dec motor) and plan to use it in conjunction with a Pictor 416xt to
complete a mosaic of M31 that I have been working on. Does anyone have any
tips or cautionary words on using the auto-mosaic functions of the 416. Does
the (note the sarcasm) completely debugged software actually support it?
