While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi to my fellow backyard astronomers,

Just a quick note of introduction,
My name is Ron and I've just subbed to the Mapug list. I currently do
not have an advanced Meade product, but am anticipating the purchase of
a 12"LX200 shortly after the first of the year. I am looking forward to
learning (and hopefully contributing) to the members of this list. I am
located in Calhoun, Georgia (about halfway between Chattanooga and
Atlanta. My current (and first) telescope is a Orion Shortube Reflector.
I have had aperature fever since about two weeks after the purchase of
this scope. I can't think of anything else to say at the moment, so I
hope ya'll have clear skies tonight wherever you are.
Ron
