While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I have an LX200 and here in Minnesota, there is a small problem with dew
:>((.A while back, I remember reading a post that discussed Nichrome
wire for use as a dew heater. A vendor was mentioned that had this wire
available in various gauges and resistances. Does anyone remember the
website for the wire manufacturer? Can anyone make a suggestion as to
the exact wire, length of wire and the appropriate voltage to use on a
10" LX200?

Thanks
