While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Ahhh, are you wanting something for deep sky or planetary work?
>From your current list I would say that you are missing a good
long FL EP.

For deep sky there are two EPs you should consider. The first is
the 35mm Panoptic. While it is not the best EP in the Panoptic
line it still produces a very good view and IMO is one of the
best overall in that focal length range.

The second I would consider is the 22mm Panoptic. It basically
does the same thing as your 26mm Plossl, but much better. This
EP is the best "long" FL EPs that I have ever used.

Actually, I lied. There is a third that I just thought of and
I don't want to rewrite the above <g>. The 50mm Tak LE. It
is actually a little cheaper than the 35mm Panoptic, produces
around the same FOV, and in dark skies produces a brighter, sharper
image with more contrast. But it "only" has a ~50 degree AFOV.
I actually prefer the view through this one, but the Panoptic
design with its 68 degree AFOV produces a much better "wow" effect,
even if the image isn't as good.

If planetary work is your goal you should consider an EP in the
high teens of FL. A Clave Plossl will produce the best image.
Period. But its poor eye relief and limited AFOV bother some
people. A Tak LE produces the next sharpest image, with excellent
eye relief (usefull if you wear glasses), but as mentioned above
has a ~50 degree AFOV, although this is less a problem with
planetary work. A Nagler would be my third choice. Although
not as sharp as the Taks, they generally are not that far behind
in performance. And the 82 degree AFOV is a stunning sight. It
looks like you crawled into the EP!
