While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi Everybody,

I am sorry to get into this so late, but I have not had the time to
follow everthing.

Michaels modification is definately genial and the way to go !
Vincents works but is risky.

Michaels alters the ozilation at which the rotates. By bypassing
the resistor he is change the speed of at which the motor rotates.
For those who want variable speeds just add a variable resistor
to the normally open switch wiring and you can adjust the speed.

Those of you with excessively fast (or slow) drives could just
directly
use the modification without the switch.

It is all elementary physics my friends. Remember science class in
high
school and many things become alot easier to solve.
