While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book

I can't recommend Guide highly enough. 6.0 was excellent and over the
course of the last year, I've applied the various free upgrades Bill has
produced. I have absolutely no problems with it, other than speed. By
porting Guide to Win32, the speed issues have reportedly been resolved.
It's on my Christmas list!

Guide does quite adequate solar system modelling. Some of the features are
non-intuitive at first, but practice makes perfect....

Guide's the one for you, on all counts.
