I think even if you had some minor color, that would be a non-issue. The most
persistent discussion in the astrophotograpy group seems to be various ways to adjust
image color by scanning the pics(with scanners that cost thousands in some cases) and
then computer processing them. I agree that for the money the Meade refractors are a
great buy. I never understood why some pay thousands extra to get a color free "APO"
refractor (or alledgely color free) and then change the colors in their pics with
extensive computer processing..
