Hi All,
There have been convincing arguments worth reviewing on both sides over
the past months for both the F6.3 and the F10 10" models. I have the 12"
and use F6.3 and F3.3. focal reducers for CCD use.
The arguments for and against indicate to me that you could do well
with any of these scopes though larger aperture almost always works in
your favor IMHO. Your particular circumstances and interests would be
the determining factors. The 12" for example is best in a permanent
set-up because of weight.
When theres difficulty in deciding between several nearly equal
choices I always think of a "Grook" of the Dane, Piet Hein. To
paraphrase, when you cant make up your mind, toss a coin:

No-not so chance will decide the affair
While you passively stand there moping;
but the moment the penny is in the air
you suddenly know what you are hoping.

Good luck in your choice.
Thanks to all on this list and Happy Hollidays. Year end clean-up, I
dont think I ever thanked Paul Goelz for a response to a question a
while back about interrupting a Go-To from the keypad. Thanks.
Regards,
Eric
