There is an article in the February Sky & Telescope about backyard
observatories. Yours truly got to have the "split roof observatory"
included, which is neat for me as Ive subscribed to Sky & Tel on and
off since the mid-fifties.
It has worked out very well for me, allowing an average of 90 sessions
per year from this site in the PNW in the last two years. Its a good
small observatory particularly suited to the short OTA of the
Schmidt-Cassegrain design. There are conceptual plans that can be
downloaded from this site. http://victoria.tc.ca/~rasc/art9703.html
Thanks for indulging me once again on this topic.
Congratulations John and thanks for your work here. Also thanks to
Michael Hart for your contributions of material and the time necessary
to generate it.

Eric
