While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi all,

I sort of vanished after s subscribing to MAPUG last month, so perhaps it is
time for me to step in with a query. I'm interested to know if it is
possible to bypass Meade's LX200 protocol to read the raw angular positions
of the encoders in order to perform custom processing. I searched the
archives a few weeks back on this subject, but drew a blank.
