Hi Paul.

Bill Gray has an extensive description on how to use guide with home built
systems on his web site and on the Guide cd-rom. One of our club members
has written control software to run stepper motors from the Guide screen by
reading the RA and Dec from the Guide program into the telescope control
computer. That is all that is needed from Guide. It does not work in
reverse as our telescope does not have encoders on it. So any small guiding
corrections made to the telescope do not show up on the guide screen.
I would suggest that you ask Bill himself some questions. He if very good
at answering his e-mail.
