Hi Fred,

I have an LX6 but I only use it as a "field scope" now (I also have an LX200
permanently mounted in an observatory with an ST-7 for imaging and
autoguiding) which I had hooked up to an SBIG ST-4 imager/autoguider. It
requires a modification to the "hand controller" which consists of wiring an
RS-232 serial plug internally which will plug into the microprocessor
control unit of the ST-4. I have the schematic around here somewhere but you
will probably get it faster by calling Meade Instruments. It worked very
well as an autoguider for many years but I wanted a higher resolution camera

that I believe I took using this setup to guide with. Let me know how you
