When I got home from work today my LX200 was sitting there on the porch =
in its shipping carton returned from Meade almost two months to the day. =
I didn't open it because I need to recruit help in lifting it up the =
ladder through the hatch into the dome and back onto the permanent pier. =
I will be doing this in the days and weeks ahead. I'm anxious to know =
whether the pointing and periodic error have been fixed and to what =
degree ("put any object on the CCD chip every time with 5 arc minutes or =
less periodic error"). I will keep you all posted on my findings. Check =
my Web page to see where it belongs.
