Well, now we all have our March issues of S&T, we see the advertisement for
the new ETX inside the back cover. At a glance, the implication seems to be
that it can "goto" just like an LX-200. However, I see no claims in the
adverstisement that it can do such wonders as "put a target on a CCD chip",
as were claimed for the LX-200 series.
Has anyone tried the new ETX with the $149 controller (is it even available
for shipping yet?)? Is the pointing accuracy within one degree? Within 20'?
Within 5'? Meade has no reference to it on their web site.
