While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I am about to purchase an LX200. I live in Hong Kong where the weather is
VERY humid for most of the year. In summer it gets to about 98% humidity
and about 32 degrees Celsius. I have a lens from my 16mm movie camera that
I had to trash because of mould. The mould ate into the optical coating so
even when the lens was cleaned it was still marked. The mould can also eat
away the surface of CDs

It would be more than a shame if the same happened to my new scope. Does
anyone have any recommendations for care or suggestion for damage
prevention.

(For anyone in the Asian region, the Hong Kong Meade dealer is fantastic
for after sales service and help.)
