Mogens,
The 12" comes in f/10 only just as the 16 inch. Meade says the
f/6.3 is just too hard to produce in production for that size glass, but
I'am sure they have other reasons. A good focal reducer will get you down
to f/6.3 or for CCD f/3.3 by Optec. It would be nice to see Meade produce
a unit like the Faststar at about f/2.
