While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hello all,
Was out recently observing Saturn with my 12"LX200 on an extraodinary
night and detail was absolutely breath taking...but...as rock solid as
the image itself was, I noticed a ever so slight vibration that
obviously coming from the RA drive motor that I could not stop. At
lower magnification, it was not noticible but this particular night of
excellent seeing made it apparent at higher magnification. With that
said, I wonder if something can be done to help stop this motor induced
vibration so I can use the higher powers. Seems I recall someone in
Mapug overhauling their motors for this same problem. Any suggestions
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave
