While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
Ricky,
I have owned an LX10 since June last year and I think its great! I did
consider going for a bigger scope (like the LX200) but I would have to owe
my wife too many favours! Besides I live in the middle of a town and to lug
the extra weight of a bigger telescope would have seen my patience and
enthusiasm wear thin.
And that's why I prefer the LX10. It has the same optics as the LX200 and is
more portable. I live in SE England and I've taken it camping with me to
Scotland and in other rural parts of England. I'm stunned at some of the
views I had with it, both astronomically and terrestially.
IPlease check out my website:-

Clear skies (I only wish in England!)
